Comprehensive's CHE-HDBT255U is an HDBaseT™ 2.0 Extender with HDMI USB audio LAN IR and RS232 connectivity. This extender supports video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 18Gbps. It also supports de-embedded audio for optical and L/R audio output and PoC function. In addition this extender is equipped with bi-directional LAN IR & RS232 pass-through which allows for source and display control up to 330ft.

The CHE-HDBT255U extender set complies with the advanced HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 standards. Through the use of the highly efficient and visually lossless DSC compression scheme high bandwidth signals previously unsupported by HDBaseT™ such as 4K@60Hz (4:4:4 8-bit) or 4K@24Hz (4:4:4 12-bit HDR) can be extended without visual compromise or additional latency.

The CHE-HDBT255U has USB ports providing USB hub functionality to make this an ideal KVM solution to transmit HDMI video signal as well as webcams external drives touch/interactive displays keyboard & mouse when the PC is housed in a distant control room.

The CHE-HDBT255U may be powered by a single 24V power supply on either the transmitter or receiver which makes install flexible and clutter free.
