Because the single PCIe port handles both power and data there's no additional clutter from SATA data and power cables. Fully supports hot-swapping drives with its removable drive tray.

The Protection You Need

Ruggedized full-metal chassis tray and mounting bracket help to ensure a long product life and further aid in heat dissipation. An anti-vibration mechanism built into the chassis reduces noise and protects against environmental damage.

Large ventilation holes on both sides of the enclosure work with your systems cooling system to keep your drives cool under load. The single-slot width is narrow enough to enable cooling even when multiple bays are installed side-by-side.

MB839SP-B is equipped with a built-in LED on the tray which can show drive power/access LED light.

For easier drive status monitoring connect your computers/server drive power/access LED light to the 2-pin HDD status header (cable not included) to easily see when your drive is in use from the front of the computer.
